The L.D. Barksdale Sickle Cell Foundation has been a cornerstone of support for individuals and families impacted by sickle cell disease in South Carolina. The foundation offers vital services such as free testing, education, financial assistance, and patient advocacy. These programs aim to enhance healthcare access and improve the quality of life for those living with this challenging condition.

The Youth Ministry Division at United T.E.A.M. Initiatives is a faith-based program supporting at-risk youth in Spartanburg County. We provide a safe space for weekly gatherings where young people can grow, learn, and connect. Each session includes meaningful discussions on topics like peer pressure and conflict resolution, along with inspiring guest speakers and a warm meal.

In addition to weekly meetings, we host bi-monthly outings and offer one-on-one mentorship to empower youth with life skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose. Your support helps us create a community where these young individuals can thrive and build brighter futures.
